New 80s version for “Magic”

...This summer I’m going to work on a new 80s style remix of a song I made 2 years ago…”Magic”.
That track will be re-arranged by Roby Calzolari of Dyva, based on the original keyboards played by D. Ariaudo and me.
Even if people still don’t know that song, I can say it is surely one of the loveliest tunes I’ve recently made…

That track will be included in the new album "Fairyland", out for Flashback records rather soon.
Roby Calzolari and Massimo Traversoni from Dyva have totally re-arranged that song, creating a pure 80s Italodisco style once again.

Planning “Fairyland” - New CD album

Flashback Records is finally planning the 80s style CD “Fairyland” and it might be released within a month or two.
That album will contain unreleased recordings like: “Divertissement”, a Dance mix of “When The Snow Falls Down” (duet with Francesca Oliveri) and the 80s original version of “Tell Me Now”, restored by Dario Viale. It will also feature a totally new version of “Memories”. That track was already released by Dyva for Flashback, but it has been totally re-arranged and it will be sung by Marc.
“Moments Of Surprise”, music by Joey Mauro, will be a brand new song.

And…New sleeves for the “In My dreams” collection.
The unreleased songs collection “In My Dreams” (Cafepress CD) has new elegant sleeves.

Because of organizational problems, the new maxi-single "Disco Silvia" won't be released now. Instead , Joey Mauro's "Deep inside of your heart"/"Fairyland" maxi will be published this autumn or later during winter 2006/2007 by Flashback records.

"Please My Love"

<…I’m going to sing my own version of "Please My Love", a song written by Calzolari and Traversoni.
It’s a "brisk" track, with a very typical 80s Italo style, and will surely make happy those people that are always waiting for a new or unreleased piece written by Dyva to be published.
The authors will anyway release that track first, on a vinyl maxi-single under FlashBack Records.
I really hope my version will follow, maybe after a short time…>

Teaming with Gregory S. Arena again.

After a first experience with “Crying For Love”, American writer Gregory Santo Arena has created new lyrics for a totally new song: “Fairyland”.
The music is composed by Joey Mauro, and Fruttero has adapted the original text by Arena.
“Fairyland” is part of that 3 tracks project produced by Joey Mauro and Kimmo Salo, and featuring Marc Fruttero as lead vocalist.

"Darkness"- New version
June/July 2006, working again on a Dub Mix for "Darkness". This present new version has been arranged in Holland by Jerry Beke. It’s much less melodic than the original 8Os version and it has heavy rhythm sections.
There’s even another project for an 8Os style re-mixed version of the same track that might be released by Flashback records during 2007.

Arranger/songwriter Joey Mauro is working on some tracks for Karl Otto (Former singer of the Dik Dik, also known as Humka Munka), and 3 other new Italodance songs for Marc Fruttero. Those new recordings might be published by Flashback records this year, or during 2007.
